Daniel R. Andrade Sr., age 71, passed away in Dallas, TX on January 24, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of faith, laughter, and love.

Born on August 3, 1954, in Midland, Texas, and raised in Dallas, Daniel remained a lifelong resident of the city he called home. Following his education at welding school in his youth, he embarked on a diverse and industrious career that spanned several decades until his retirement in 2019.

A devoted follower of Jesus Christ, Daniel's life was defined by his immense love for God. He found deep fulfillment in studying the Holy Scriptures and took every opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations regarding his Christian faith. Beyond his spiritual devotion, Daniel cherished time spent with his family and friends. Known for his vibrant sense of humor and his penchant for belting out a favorite song, he had a unique gift for bringing joy and laughter to any room. Daniel also had a profound affection for animals, especially his beloved dogs, who were his constant and faithful companions.

Daniel is survived by his children: Regina Andrade, Erica Douglas and her husband Roderick, Daniel R. Andrade Jr., Alexia Andrade, and Danielle Andrade. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Isaac G. Andrade, Tai Douglas, Brooklyn Douglas, Olivia Cochran, and Natalie Cochran; and his great-grandson, Denver L. McCurdy.

He also leaves behind his brothers, Raymond Andrade, and Freddy Andrade; his sisters, Estella Andrade, Ruth Hidrogo, Alicia Hernandez, and Olga Andrade; his dear nephew, Ismeal "Mo" Andrade, Jr.; and a host of cherished nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Porfirio, and Beatrice Andrade; his brothers, Ismeal "Milo" Andrade, and Lorenzo Andrade; his sister, Rafaela Pineda; his niece, Rosie "Ochie" Ramos; and his grandson, Patrick L. Adger Jr.

A funeral service to celebrate Daniel's life and faith will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM CST at North Dallas Funeral Home located at 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, TX 75234.
