Daniel Thomas Avila passed away in Salinas, Ca on December 8, 2025.
Danny was born in Tracy, Ca on February 4, 1954, to his parents Thomas and Antonia Avila. He spent his youth in Watsonville, Ca and last resided in San Juan Batista with his own family.
Danny was a creative spirit who enjoyed playing the guitar, drawing, and painting. In his free time he loved to fly kites and spend time with his family. He was a tradesman who worked for Indian Motorcycles. Southern Pacific Railroad, and Maggiora Bros Drilling.
He is preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Antonia and his sister Suzanne Marie Avila. Danny is survived by his wife Patricia Avila, his siblings Andrea Dean (Wayne), Rosemary Avila, Evelyn Borrego (Jim), Maryanne Jones, and Thomas Avila. He also leaves behind his stepchildren Alyssa, Jennifer, Jeremy, and Ireland Lamano, and his grandchildren Yasser, Samarah, Adam, and Layla.
A Memorial Service will be held for Daniel on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 3PM, followed by a Reception at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel, located at 609 Main St, Watsonville, Ca 95076.
