It's coming up on 5 years Gramps... I miss you, your personality, fiery and fiercely loyal, sweet and supportive. I'm comforted knowing you are with Gram, Mike, your parents, and all of your beloved animals. I look forward to being with you all someday.

I often think of "Uncle Dan". He lived a full life and it was always a pleasure to talk to. He had a great sense of humor and a person that I admired.

I miss your voice Gramps. You were such a light in the lives of so many and will always be dearly loved. I look forward to when we can be together again. Until then,keep sending the signs that you are still around. Love you.

Dan and Shirley took care of me for a time when I was a little girl. My father and Dan were great friends-Dewey Atkinson. They were a wonderful family and I thank them for all the love and attention. Mary Ellen Atkinson Bertkau

I will always remember Mr. Blitz when I worked with him in the 1980's at Lakeside. He was always a very happy and compassionate man. He enjoyed his life and family - this was evident in his kind-hearted manner. And he always had a youthful presence. I consider myself very fortunate to have had the privilege of working with him and seeing him in the community the past decades.

I wish I'd gotten to know him more. If there's anything I can do don't hesitate to ask. All my love.
