Dan - I can’t believe it’s been 5 years since you were called to meet and share in the joy of our lord in heaven. I am sure you and Dad have caught up and know that we miss you and he both. We look forward to meeting you all in heaven someday. Thank you for being an awesome godfather to Brad. He misses you dearly. God bless.
Your Brother-in-law,
Joe

There's an unspoken bond between big sisters and little brothers...
Perhaps it's in remembering so many cherished times together like the first time I cradled you with mom very nearby or your tiny broken leg from a highchair fall, that we all (your siblings) nursed you through or walking with you and mom to your first day of school. I remember reading books to you and playing king of the hill in the winter snow as if it were yesterday. More recently, because little brothers like you are so caring, you were repairing my car in subzero temperatures, but our last Christmas Dinner together with your dearly beloved tribe will always be the most exceptional for so many reasons. Faith teaches us that at some point in the not too distant future, we will all be together again. I am so thankful to our Lord for the promise of continuity my little brother, because it would be so incomplete for any of us to carry on without you. I'm so glad that you are my little brother and I take comfort in knowing that if God needs an engineer for advanced angelic wing design he'll know where to look.
May you find Light, Refreshment and Peace.
Your Loving Sis

TO THE BOSKOVITCH FAMILY:
The last time I saw your son/brother, was approximately three months ago and he was looking remarkably well and in a suit and tie, appropriately dressed for his professional work as an engineer, an academic accomplishment that all who knew him, knew he labored so diligently to accomplish. Given the fact that he was employed full time, in college full time and had graduated with honors, in the midst of taking care of his family, was nothing short of remarkable!
We grew up together in one of the poorest sections of the city. Often times, in those conditions, most have little or no chance to amount to anything much less take care of the needs of so many others. In his mid life times, when we reconnected, I remember his hard work and personal industriousness in so much good! At often a distance, we all admired his landscaping and building and constructing and efforts in repairing and fixing his homes. And, even though he was often too inundated to take pleasure in spending excess time with others, because of his need to attend to the needs of his large family: attending a wrestling match or baseball game with his kids, he still mustered the slivers of precious time to in order to be nurturing to his friends.
Dan was an incredibly gifted and talented man who will always be remembered by me and many others, for his fortitude, perseverance and the ability to transform things into good!!!
May God bless the Boskovitch family and know that he was admired and loved.

Dear Daniel Joseph:
When I first met you, you were so youthful and vibrant. As time passed, and your health changed, I was amazed at your strength and perseverance through thick and thin. I only hope that I can imitate many of your virtues in facing the many challenges in my life as calmly and bravely as you did. If I could have held back time for you, I would have. I prayed so earnestly to do just that.
May you rest in Peace dear brother.
Your adopted sister,
Janie

Cathy, Chad and Family,
My deepest sympathy to you all. The memory that stands out the most to me of your father is at our Clambake last year. When he won the snow blower, he was so happy! His smile was huge. I also remember seeing him jogging while you were at CYO football practice. He seemed so happily determined to be as healthy as he could. I do remember watching your football games and noticing him as he watched you on the field. He was very proud of you and all your accomplishments. Know he is still with you, supporting you, during your life's journey.
God Bless You,
Dan & Jessica Bender

Dear Cathy and Dan's Family and Friends, I met Dan as a coworker at Demag over 17 years ago. We worked closely together as he Mentored me as a young engineer. I would not be the Engineer or the Man I am today if it had not been for Dan. I have only fond and good memories of Dan. When I left Demag, we remained friends. One of the fondest memories I have of Dan is at my wedding. He snuck up and cut in and danced with me and my photographer got a picture of it. I am so sorry for your loss, he will always be a part of who I am. Hold on to the good memories and cherish them, may they carry you thru. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers as will his soul, may he rest in peace.

Nothing can express the sadness that I have right now, reading of the passing of this awesome guy. He was one of the best cousins I had when I was just a little kid. Our families were always together and all the cousins were always playing. There was enough of us for a few football teams that's for sure, and always played like we were on a football team. As we have gotten older, we might have grown apart, but our love as cousins was and will always be there.
I will always remember us making family memories and having so much fun, with not a worry in the world. Thank you for those fun memories. May you rest in peace, and until we see each other again, I love you my dear cousin.

Dan was a fellow Saturday morning men's prayer group member who introduced me to the "Crossing the Goal" show and who helped me with a K of C Fortnight for Freedom event. He was a faithful family man who fought hard and remains a great example to any man of how to behave when facing adversity. God bless his family, and may he rest in peace.

I would like to offer my condolences to your family. I worked with Dan at Van Dorn before I took time off to raise my children. I sometimes ran into Dan and family around Berea and area when my kids were younger and we went to all of the family events in the area. Dan was always so very nice to talk to, he was a dedicated worker, extremely helpful and I am lucky to have worked with him. I actually sit at what was his desk and have some of his old papers and files. And our NC4 Simulator still bears a label that says "Dan's Simulator". Several of us talked today and the recurring theme was how nice Dan was and how well he was liked in the company. My family will be keeping your family in our prayers.

SENDING ALL OF YOU OUR HEARTFELT CONDOLENCES AND PRAYERS. MAY OUR LORD BLESS AND COMFORT YOU DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME.
GOD BLESS
To the Boskovitch family,
I met Dan 9 years ago. He became a great friend and we helped each other overcome things through this life. He ALWAYS talked about Cathy and his kids and how much he loved them. He always wanted what is best for you all. I felt like I already knew you just through his words. I had the pleasure of meeting Jennifer last year and now we are close. It has been such a blessing. I am sending love and prayers to you all through this very difficult time. Dan was for sure a fighter, and I feel very blessed to have had his friendship.
Sincerely,
Tricia Martin

To the Boskovitch Family -
As a coworker of Dan's for the past 10 years, I enjoyed working with Dan and the time that I got to know him. He was a great man of faith, a great man of many accomplishments throughout this life, a great coworker, but an even better friend.
I am proud to have known Dan and I appreciate all that he taught me during our time working together; so simply "Thank You". You are in our thoughts and prayers.

CONGRATULATIONS ON GRADUATING WITH HONORS IN ENGINEERING!

Dear Chad,
The first time I really met your Dad, it was in our back yard. We had a great time watching you learn to ride a dirt bike. He was SO proud of you. You did a great job! He was a proud Daddy and loved you so very much. I admired his strength and character. He was so very brave. What a legacy he has left in you and your family. Carry that with you always, as he will be with you. You are a wonderful young man. I love you!
