Daniel (Dan) Edward Braden, 69, of Pittsburg, KS, passed away on June 25, 2025, at his home in Pittsburg, Kansas.

Daniel was born to Robert and Helen C. (Leighty) Braden in Chillicothe, Missouri. He graduated from St. Mary's Colgan in 1973. He attended Kansas Teacher's College where he earned his Associates Degree in Upholstery & Woodworking. Daniel owned and operated Braden Upholstery for over 40 years. He married Kristi (Stevens) on August 23, 1997.

Survivors include; his wife Kristi of the home, two sons; Joshua Braden (Ashley) of Pittsburg, KS, and Jared Braden of Pittsburg, KS, two sisters; Vicki Lemon (Larry) of Parker, KS, and Cynthia Eichorn of Frontenac, KS, three grandchildren; Kalanee, Annistyn, and Elliana Braden, sister in-law & brother-in-law Karen & Jerry Parsons of Joplin, MO, several nephews, and niece. Daniel is preceded in death by his parents.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Michael Simone as celebrant. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories. A Rosary will be prayed on Tuesday, July 1st, 2025 at 6:00 pm, with visitation following at Our Lady of Lourdes in Pittsburg, KS. Memorial donations can be made to St Mary's Alumni Fund or Mass intentions in his name. Arrangements are under the direction of the Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, KS.
