Daniel Brand Obituary
He was born January 28, 1960, in Massillon the son of the late Ralph and Mildred (Emrick) Brand.
Daniel had worked at the Massillon Recreation Center for 13 years.
He was a member of Divine Mercy/St. Mary's, FOE#190, and enjoyed bowling, fishing, gardening and cooking.
Daniel is survived by brothers, William (Margie) Brand, John (Elaine) Brand, and Timothy (Kathy) Brand; sisters, Sue (Tim) Woods and Linda (Paul) Condon; cousin Clayton (Robin) Brand; his lifelong friends, Mark and Dee Freshour; many other cousins, nieces, nephews; and loved his dog, Max.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Robert, Samuel and Thomas Brand; and sisters, Linda Carol Brand, and Barb (Brand) Jones.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, from 10 to 11 A.M. at Heitger Funeral Home - MASSILLON CHAPEL. Funeral service will follow and begin at 11 A.M.
Burial to follow the service in Brookfield Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Stark County Humane Society.
