Daniel Brennan Obituary

Daniel Charles Brennan
Daniel Charles Brennan was born February 6, 1958, in Atlanta. He passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 29, 2021, from complications from gallbladder stones. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Daniel attended Druid Hills and Shamrock High Schools, located in Decatur. He later worked for Frito-Lay in Chamblee. He retired from Crown Castle in 2015, after 16 years of service. I always told him he was the best darn operations technician at Crown. He loved boating on his pontoon boat, first at Lake Fontana, NC and, the last 15-plus years, at Lake Lanier. He was very social, and loved to get out for lunch and go to all his many watering holes in the Braselton, Gainesville, and surrounding areas. He was an avid sports fan. Daniel loved his Georgia Bulldogs, and he was a Falcons season ticket holder for 39 years. He loved this country, and he was very patriotic. Daniel loved to travel the US, but never more than three consecutive days away from home. He will be missed by many friends and especially his longtime girlfriend, Maureen. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to the Humane Society or Saint Jude Children's Hospital. Daniel loved animals, especially his White Shoes Kitty and Cat. They were his children. There will be a graveside service on Saturday, June 5, at 3 p.m. at Gwinnett Memorial Park, located at 925 Lawrenceville Highway, followed by a celebration of life at Maynard's, located at 7435 Spout Spring Road in Flowery Branch, from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. Please come casual, that's the way Daniel would have wanted it, and come join us in toast to his magnificent life.
