Daniel Patrick Casey, "Danny", born on September 26, 1968, in Cincinnati, OH, passed away on August 12, 2024, at Hospice of Cincinnati Blue Ash after a courageous battle against cancer. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Mollie Casey (nee Smyth), his father Daniel Casey, and step-mother Terri Garmon, children Ryan O'Cull (Amanda), & Conner Casey, step children Meagan & Kyle Steltenkamp, grandson Carson O'Cull, sisters Kimberly (Jake) Hill, Donna Casey, brothers Mike & Brian Casey, and many devoted nieces and nephews. Danny was preceded in death by his mother Sandra Casey.
Known for his intelligence, wit, and caring nature, Danny was a friend to many and never declined a request for help on a project or advice on how to solve a problem. He loved nothing more than being surrounded by his family and friends. His "the more the merrier" attitude led to countless weekends at Lake Cumberland, creating life long memories on the water with the people he loved most. Evenings were spent playing cards and games, where his competitive nature came out. His larger than life personality and fierce determination were obvious in his fight against cancer. The courage and strength that he showed will always be an inspiration to those he fought so hard not to leave.
In his journey through life, Danny touched the hearts of many with his kindness and humor. He will be fondly remembered for his infectious laughter, unparalleled intellect, and unwavering tenacity. Danny's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him. However, his memory will forever remain a cherished part of those he leaves behind. May his soul rest in peace.
The family will be receiving friends Saturday, August 17th, 2024 at 9:00am with a Memorial Service following at 10:00am at Evans Funeral Home 741 Center Street, Milford, OH 45150
