My heartfelt condolences to Dan´s wife and children and all his family. Dan was a valued member of our Centering Prayer group. He was a kind man and we all were blessed by his presence. We will all miss him. May he rest in peace.

Uncle Dan, you will be missed, but thank you for all your love and devotion to family. Love to Auntie Gracie and all my cousins.

While I never had the privilege of meeting Daniel in person, I heard his loving and kind voice over the phone as he talked to his daughter Lucy. There was so much joy and excitement coming from him that it made me smile. What a gift he possessed to influence others so deeply.

I am holding the entire Coll family in the well of my heart of love as you remember him through tears of joy & a sadness in missing him. May we all bless Daniel by continuing to honor his legacy of loving kindness.

The Coll family has been lifetime family friends since we came to Chicago and settled in 1969. I'm very grateful for the role that we shared in our lives.

May your father rest in peace and may my deepest consolations be extended to the Coll family.

Thank you Daniel, for your life of service to Country, Community and Family. As a citizen of Chicago, I thank your family for the dedication and honor with which you sacrificed to keep us safe, time taken from them to protect us. I am grateful that you were able to spend your retirement years surrounded by loved ones, making great memories. Go then, faithful servant, on to the next great adventure.

Indeed, Terry, and I feel very fortunate to have known him, and he brought light and laughter to every gathering! The vision I will keep in my heart is of our last boat parade party, where he stood out at the tip of the dock, waving to every boat that went by and wishing everyone a merry Christmas!
