Daniel "Danny" Como of Carmel, NY passed away on December 28, 2017 at the age of 65. He was born in Yonkers, NY, the son of Francis and Helen (Malone) Como. Danny loved music and the open road. He was a great father, grandfather and friend to everyone he ever met. Danny was the life of the party and always had the best energy. Danny is survived by his wife Linda, his five children, Daniel (Jessica), Francis (Brittni), Erica Como, Jessica Segur (Matthew), and Melissa Como; his siblings Kevin Como, Peggy Masterson, and Helene Como; and his eleven grandchildren Bryan, Bryanna, Christopher, Andrew, Kaylee, Nicholas, Francis, Tyler, Anthony, Landon, and Aubrey. Friends and family are welcome to attend a visitation on Thursday, January 4th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home in Mahopac. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 5th at 10AM at St. James The Apostle Church in Carmel, NY. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Yonkers. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in Danny's name to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org and/or to the ASPCA at www.aspca.org

We will always remember Danny and Lorraine as two wonderful people and friends. Danny was a force to be reckoned with! He would keep you laughing the entire time you were with him. He will be truely missed❤

I will always remember Danny as the father whom had the biggest heart, as the hard working and decent man that he was, and how obvious it was that he loved his family, it truly shows in all his pictures. Please accept my sincerest condolences. My thoughts and heart are with you. May his soul rest in peace. Always remember the wonderful times with him, he will always be in your hearts. It was an honor to have met him and I'll always be grateful for his friendship as my best friend's father.
