Dan M. Consilio Sr., 80, of Rochester, NY, passed away on December 18, 2025.

Born on June 1, 1945, in Rome, NY, Dan graduated from Lemoyne College in 1967.

Following graduation, he moved to Rochester, NY to start a career at Eastman Kodak.

On June 8, 1968, he married the love of his life, Mary, in Syracuse, NY. Together, they shared a lifetime of love, family, and cherished memories.

Dan is survived by his three children, Shelli (Scott) Lefebre, Lisa (Jay) Bierker, and Dan (Sandy Morse); six grandchildren, David (Molly) Lefebre, Alli Lefebre, Jeremy Bierker, Zach Bierker, Lucas Consilio, and Marco Consilio; and his great-granddaughter, Nora Lefebre. He is also survived by his brother, Mickey Consilio, and his sister, Marie Palmer, both of Rome, NY.

Dan loved going out to dinner and traveling with his wife, including two memorable vacations to Italy, and spending many winters together in Florida. Golfing with friends was one of his greatest passions, and he was a devoted New York Yankees fan his entire life. He also took great pride in coaching his children and later enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports and dance. Above all else, his family was his pride and joy, and he treasured time spent sitting around the table, chatting, laughing, and sharing stories.

Calling hours will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday, December 26, at Farrell-Ryan Funeral & Cremation Services. A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, December 27, at Our Mother of Sorrows Church. Inurnment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Dan’s memory will live on through his family, friends, and all those who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be remembered for his warmth, his love of life, and the deep devotion he had for his family.
