DANIEL JAMES DEAN COPELAND
June 9, 1997 – December 10, 2024
Daniel James Dean Copeland was born in Lapeer to Curt and Kim (Perry) Copeland. He graduated from Kingston High School in 2015. On Friday and Saturdays, “DJ Dean” worked at Sunrise Sunset and proudly led their trivia night on Thursday evenings. Daniel also worked with his mom at Kimberly’s Styles in Kingston, where he was given various responsibilities and was considered the “master of all trades”. Nothing ever held him back. He had a strong spirit and throughout his life he continued to be a fighter. Daniel enjoyed music and had the opportunity to meet his favorite singers, Hillary Duff and Carrie Underwood in person. He loved his niece and nephew, family and friends and his companion dog, Riley. He will be remembered for his radiant smile, his infectious laugh, and his ability to bring people together and inspire them.
Daniel is survived by his parents, Curt (Kim) Copeland; sister, Nicole (JT) Weirauch; niece, Natalie; nephew, Warren; many family members and friends that loved him dearly. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Stuart and Nancy Copeland, Walt and Karen Proctor; uncle, Danny Copeland.
