Daniel Maurice Couture, 72, of North Chelmsford, MA died unexpectedly and suddenly at his home on January 8, 2026. He was devoted to his beloved wife, Darlene (Banks) Couture of North Chelmsford with whom they celebrated their 43th wedding anniversary on October 9th. Born in Biddeford, Maine on September 8, 1953 he was the son of the late Maurice and Collette (Peacock) Couture. Danny had a long successful career as the manager at a local furniture warehouse in Lowell. He was a longtime member of North Chelmsford Congregational Church. He raised his family in North Chelmsford and adored his grandchildren and cherished his girls. He enjoyed camping, and trips with his grandchildren to the Berkshires. Danny enjoyed laying in the sun at the beach and trips to Florida with his wife. He is survived by his two daughters, Kerianne and her husband Adam Nelson of Nashua, NH, and Danielle and her husband Blair Heffernan of Derry, NH, five grandchildren, Elizabeth Heffernan, Sarah Nelson, Camille Heffernan, Matthew Nelson, and Talullah Heffernan, he is also survived by his sisters Mary Falcone, Rebecca "Becky" Couture, and Michelle and her husband Artie Grizwald.
He was the brother of the late Brian Couture.
Visiting hours will be Wednesday Jan 14, 2026 from 3 to 5 PM at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, MA. Funeral Service at 5pm.
