Daniel James Cremati

Daniel James Cremati, 70, of Uniontown, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on February 18, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Born with a gentle spirit and a servant's heart, Dan lived a life marked by kindness, humility, and unwavering faith. He worked for nearly 50 years as an incredibly skilled Mobile Technician, a role that suited his dependable nature and his desire to help others. But his true calling was far deeper: sharing the love of Jesus with everyone he met.

Dan had a passion for giving Bibles and mission literature, always eager to place hope into someone's hands. He spoke often of how the Lord had delivered and saved him, and he never missed an opportunity to share his testimony. His faith wasn't just something he talked about, it was something he lived every single day.

Dan was preceded in death by his father, William; his mother, Dolores; his brother, John; and his sister, Linda. He carried a deepand loving bond with his brother and sister, cherishing the memories and connection they shared throughout their lives.

To his family, Dan was the steady, loving presence they could always count on. He is survived by his devoted wife, Pam, who holds close the many beautiful memories of their life together, especially the day he asked her to marry him. When either of them was ill, Dan would smile softly and say, "I'm kissing you in my heart."

He is also lovingly remembered by his stepchildren, Leslie Butler and Michael Gillard (spouse Nicole); his grandchildren, Melody McGaha (spouse Jonathan) and Jesse Butler (fiancé Pauletta); his great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Emilia, and Luca, brought him immeasurable joy.

Dan was known for being selfless, honest, hard-working, and deeply supportive. He put others first without hesitation, offering a listening ear, a helping hand, or a quiet prayer whenever it was needed. His favorite reminder, “Turn things over to God. Time is your friend." which reflected the peace and trust that guided his life. Dan's legacy is one of faith, love, and generosity. He leaves behind a family who adored him and countless lives touched by his compassion.

Calling hours will be on Monday March 2nd, from 5p-7p at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305

Funeral service will be the following day, Tuesday, March 3rd at 1pm at Grace Cathedral-Akron, 1055 Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44312. Service to be conducted by Rev. Chris Machamer.
