Danny Cuellar, 76, went home to be with the Lord peacefully on September 27, 2025, in Bakersfield, California. He was born on July 6, 1949, in Uvalde, Texas, and spent most of his life in Bakersfield. A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Danny carried his service to his country with honor and dignity throughout his life. In 1985, he met the love of his life, Lupe, and together they shared many beautiful years of marriage, creating a home filled with laughter, faith, and unconditional love.

Danny was a man of Christian faith who loved the Lord and lived his life with a giving heart. He worked many years in fiberglass manufacturing, taking great pride in his craftsmanship on swimming pools, water slides, fountains, and countless other projects. Known as a true "jack of all trades," Danny could fix just about anything-whether it was plumbing, electrical, drywall, automobiles, or swimming pools. Family was always at the center of Danny's life. He treasured family vacations-especially trips to the beach and Disneyland-and was happiest when surrounded by his loved ones. A devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, he also enjoyed the simple joys of life, including meals at El Sombrero, holiday gatherings, and his favorite traditions of tamales and pozole. He will forever be remembered for being a selfless man who never hesitated to lend a hand and who made every moment with him feel special.

Danny is preceded in death by his parents, Beatrice and Frank Sr., and his brother, Frank Jr. He is survived by his devoted wife, Lupe; his children, Stephanie (Jeff), Sara (Anthony), Gabe, Danny Jr., Josie, Vicky, and Rudy; his sister, Alice; and his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Among his grandchildren, he held a particularly close and special bond with Frankie, Xavier, Paris, Nautica, Faith, Denver, and Milo, each of whom brought him great joy and pride.

Danny will be remembered for his faith, kindness, and endless love. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
