Daniel Swint Obituary
Danny sustained serious, life-altering injuries in a 2005 automobile crash and was not expected to live, but God stepped in …. he not only survived but enjoyed 20 additional years under the loving care of his mother and father. He was a graduate of Strom Thurmond High School and USC-Aiken. Prior to his accident he was a top salesman for Bourne Toyota. He loved music, writing poetry, playing sports and hunting. He was a friend and a protector of many and will be greatly missed until we meet again.
He is survived by his daughters, Heather Stewart (Wayne) and Savannah Swint; two grandchildren, Jacob and Gracelyn; his parents, D and Linda Swint; two sisters, Tanya Swint Simpson (James), Joanne Swint Howard (Brian); nieces and nephews, Brandon Howard (Tiffany), Dylan Howard, Alisha Simpson Bond (Jonathon), Kaitlyn Howard, Cassie Simpson; great nieces and nephews Bella, Brie, Micheal, Wyatt, Mason and Amelia, and long-time caregiver, Erica Eubanks. He is predeceased by his grandparents, Delbert and Annabelle Graves and Daniel and Susie Swint.
The family extends special thanks to Brittany Walker and Jeremy Loghry for their guidance, expertise and support during Danny's recent hospital stay.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. David Gallimore and Rev. Wayne Rutherford officiating.
The service will be live streamed at https://view.oneroomstreaming.com/index.php?data=MTc1NDA1NTQxNzE3MDI0ODgmb25lcm9vbS1hZG1pbiZjb3B5X2xpbms= Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Graniteville, SC. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 PM– 2:00 PM. Pallbearers will be Jonathon Bond, Scott Eubanks, Geoff Grant, Brandon Howard, Dylan Howard and Wayne Stewart.
If desired, memorials may be made to MVC Veterans Park, c/o Midland Valley Community Church, 3526 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, SC 29829.

I worked at Bourne Toyota with Danny and he was a legend. I have seen him sell 3 cars in one day, something that is not easy to do. To put it in perspective our goal for the month was 5 vehicles. He had a way about him that just drew people to him and made you feel like you knew him all your life. He set the bar high but wasn´t full of himself. This was back in 2003 and I still remember him vividly. Rest in peace Danny.
