Daniel “Danny” Walsworth, 55, of Keithville, Louisiana, passed away on June 26, 2025, in Durant, Oklahoma, surrounded by the people who loved him most. Born on June 15, 1970, in Shreveport, Louisiana, Danny was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Brandy Walsworth; his daughters, Chelsie Walsworth, Brooklyn Broussard, Amberlyn Walsworth, and Jaylee Bass; his sons-in-laws, Christian Broussard and James Wooldridge; his cherished grandchildren, Burklee Broussard and Axell Tyler; his brother, Allen Walsworth and sister-in-law, Ellen Walsworth and family. Danny is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Jean and Floyd Walsworth, and his son, Daniel Walsworth, with whom he is now reunited in heaven.
Danny worked at Yokem Toyota, where he was known for his dedication, reliability, and quiet strength. In his free time, Danny loved hunting, camping, playing golf, and watching his daughters play softball. He was also an avid football fan who rarely missed a game — especially when it came to cheering on his favorite teams, LSU and the New Orleans Saints. But his greatest joy came from being “Grumps” to his grandchildren, a title he held with pride and love.
Those who knew Danny will remember his stubborn streak, his sharp sense of humor, and the unshakable strength he carried in his calm and quiet way. He didn’t need many words to show how much he cared — his actions always spoke loudest. Danny leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and loyalty. He will be deeply missed and forever held in the hearts of those who knew him.
