Our dearly departed brother Dan´s passing was sudden, but rest assured, for him it´s only a sleep until Jesus calls his name at the first resurrection! Brother Dan loves family and he was loved. Let´s be faithful so we can reunite at the sound of the trumpets ! Our sincere condolences to Joel, Jonathan and all family members.

I met Dan when my wife and I joined the Morristown SDA Church about 24 years ago. He was the organist and I played guitar, so we worked together playing for the Church's Praise and Worship time. Since then, we worked together in the Treasury department and on the Church board. We had similar interests musically and otherwise, and we became close friends. He loved to serve and play for church, and as he grew older, he became more of a grandfatherly figure to many of the members. He was always eager to learn new technology, although it wasn't always easy for him to keep up. He had a youthly enthusiasm that was infectious, and he loved his friends very deeply. He loved the Lord and always told everyone how good God was to him. It's unfortunate that I didn't have a chance to say goodbye, but I'm comforted knowing that we will meet at Jesus' feet over on the other shore. May God bring comfort and peace to Joel, Jonathan, and the rest of Dan's family.

We will miss our Brother Dan. He was always ready to serve his church and to share his honest feelings with his church family. His passion and enthusiasm were contagious and he always enjoyed a good laugh. We're looking forward to seeing him again in the blessed resurrection of the Lord Jesus! Amen.

Dan, was a lovely man who loved music and the Morristown church. I've know Dan since I was a child. I met Dan and his wife Esther, when I was in grade school back in the early 80s. I also still miss her; both Dan and Esther were lovely, happy and selfless people. I hope I can follow their Christ-like example and see them one day again in heaven. I am glad Dan will open his eyes and soon see a place where there are no more pains, no more diseases, no more wars, or tears. Dan had a great sense of humor and would have a ready smile and/or a funny saying that would make you stop and smile. Dan will be deeply missed and remembered for all he was and so much of the good things he did for so many years so faithfully. May he rest in peace until Jesus comes in the clouds to take us all home. Peace to all those friends and family who are missing Dan.
