Dan was the Chairman of the Board of Trustees at St. Leonard's Academy in West Philadelphia when the very difficult decision to close the school had to be made. I was the School Head. No one could have served the St. Leonard's community in a more generous and kind way than Dan. I will always be grateful for his support and understanding.
