Suzanne Fazio Obituary
Beloved wife of Wray Fazio. Proud mother of Paul (Linda) Ostrem, Tom (Judy) Ostrem and Tim (Kris) Ostrem. Loving grandmother of Elizabeth Ostrem (Nate Yelk), Matthew Ostrem, Kathleen Ostrem (Carver Boucher Bergstedt), and John Ostrem. Sister of Patricia Abel (Bill) and Michael Dowd (Karen). Remembered affectionately by Andrea (John) DiVecchio, Theresa (Mike) Prospero and Paula (Jason) Taylor.
Born in Rockford, IL raised in Joliet, IL. Attended St. Johns Catholic School and St. Francis Academy. She was a longtime parishioner of San Marco Catholic Church, Marco Island, FL where she sang in the choir.
The focus of Sue's life was her faith, family, and friends. She brought joy and a love of life to everyone that she met. Her Sunday pot roast dinners brought warmth and fullness to everyone who sat at her table. One of her joys was a genial round of golf with family members or dear friends.
Her favorite reading was biographies or biographical novels of accomplished women.
Her professional life included over thirty years of running dental offices and before that fashion retail.
She is preceded in death by her parents Thomas Emmett and Alyce Dowd, Wray's parents Angelo and Theresa Fazio and her brother-in-law Bill Abel.
Services will be held at San Marco Church Saturday April 13th at 11:00 am

I first met Sue playing golf in the GGG (Glen Golf Gals) league. We played together many times and became friends. What a sweetheart and fun person she was to know and play golf with, have lunch and drinks with.
Sue, will be missed around the Glen ~ that I know for sure.
