It is with heavy hearts that brothers Ron and Tim announce the unexpected passing of their beloved brother Dan.
Daniel J. Dewan was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on September 19, 1954 to Donald J. Dewan and Ann F. Dewan. Dan was found on September 30, 2025 having been taken home to the Lord.
Dan is preceded in death by his Grandparents Ralph and Ruth Dewan and William and Catherine Schulz, his parents Ann and Don Dewan and his brothers Michael and Jim.
He leaves behind Ron Dewan and wife Linda, Tim Dewan and wife Josefina, and niece Heather Brown and husband Noah, nephews Brandon Dewan and wife Jennifer and Tony Dewan and wife Roma. He was blessed with great nephews Brooks, Hunter, and Hudson and great nieces Piper, Ella and Meena.
Dan attended St.Teresa grade school and Elder high school graduating in 1973. He went on to get business management degree from Cincinnati Technical College and worked in restaurant management for much of his career, owning his own restaurant, Twin Trolley II for decades. Dan's restaurant was known for great quality food, service and affordability to his many loyal customers. Dan always worked to create a family environment in his restaurant and was loved by his customers and employees.
He spent his last years working as the manager of the Brew House in Walnut Hills and was greatly missed upon his retirement last year.

He also served as a groomsman in his brother Ron's wedding to Linda.
He attended various Catholic Churches over the years and most recently at St Lawrence Church in Price Hill. Inurnment will follow at St. Joseph New Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to society of Saint Vincent de Paul Cincinnati, Ohio.
Dan will be greatly missed by family and friends, but now rests with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He will be remembered as a kind soul who was always cheerful and willing to help others at anytime.
