Daniel Ray Elledge

Daniel Ray Elledge tragically passed from this life May 9, 2018 at his residence in Seneca, South Carolina. Born August 27, 1974 in Sacramento, CA, Daniel was raised and educated in Plumas County graduating from Greenville High School as a member of the "Class of 1993" where he lettered in both football and wrestling. Upon his graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Army, was trained as a combat medic as well as an unmanned aerial vehicle operator. He valiantly served in Kosovo, Afghanistan. Upon his discharge Daniel has taken time off to tour the country and while enjoying his travels he found solace spending time with his dogs. He continued his love of his country and service to others as a proud member of the American Legion. In his untimely passing he leaves his daughters; Jewelya and Shea Elledge both of Fayetteville, North Carolina, father; Dennis Elledge of Sacramento, CA, brother; Benjamin Elledge of Quincy, CA, sisters; Joy Strecker of Quincy, Rachel Elledge of Bend, OR and Rebecca Guerra of Portola, CA. Daniel joins his mother; Debra who passed in 2014 and brother; Michael Guerra who passed in 2012 in their eternal home. Graveside services to include Military Honors will take place at noon June 2, 2018 in the Quincy East Lawn Cemetery.
