May 20, 1995 – October 29, 2025
Kingwood, Texas
Daniel “Danny” Farrar, 30, left us far too soon after a battle with depression. A bright light to all who knew him, Danny brought laughter, kindness, and warmth into every room. His infectious smile, sharp humor, and heart of gold touched countless lives, whether leading teams with dependability and care, sharing long hugs during tough times, or simply making strangers feel welcome.
Danny lived for life’s simple joys: fishing at dawn, hurling discs on the course, cracking open Pokémon packs, spending time with family and friends, savoring a cold Coors Light, and trading jokes over a friendly wager. From an early age, he shared a love of motocross and riding with his dad. A devoted momma’s boy with the tattoo to prove it, he spoke often of his family’s love and surprised the world from the moment he arrived, defying doctors who swore he’d be a girl.
He is survived by his heartbroken parents, Jenny Farrar and Dan Farrar; sisters Shelby Drost (Brandyn) and their children Lilah and Hudson; Misty Harrison (Henry) and their children Riya and Henry Jasper (HJ); grandmother Ruth Orovich; aunts Lynn Anderton (Brian) and son Blake, Kelly Shirley (Craig) and daughters Krista and Amanda; Jennifer Farrar and daughter Lola, uncle Tommy Farrar, great-aunt Nancy Rajowski; great-uncle Mike Brown; and extended family John, Melanie, David, Eric, and Amy Doran, Julie Doran-Darst, Kim Hacker and Keith and Cindy Williams.
Preceded in death by grandparents Jean and Jay Mann, and Daniel A. Farrar; uncle Jeff Mann; great-aunts Kay Doran and Judy Brown; great-grandparents Philip and Ethel Wilk, Daniel and Rose Farrar; and extended family Steven Williams, John Doran Sr., and Shay Darst.
Danny’s light burned fiercely and briefly. His love endures in every laugh remembered, every story retold, every heart he made lighter.
A private family viewing will be held on November 11, 2025, with a Celebration of Life on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM, hosted by his family and beloved coworkers at The Hometown Chef Catering Co., 419 Isaacks Ct., Humble, TX 77338.
