DANIEL FELIX JR

Daniel Felix Jr., at just 29 years old, entered his eternal home in Heaven on August 19, 2025, due to a motorcycle accident. Born on September 12, 1995, to his parents, Daniel and Rachelle Felix, and raised in the Imperial Valley. He attended Harding & Hedrick Elementary Schools, Wilson Jr. High School, and graduated as a Central Union High School Spartan in 2013.

Before graduating from high school, he had a love for the Lord that set his heart on fire, getting baptized on January 21, 2007, at the age of 11 years old. Going on to recommit his life to his Savior on February 22, 2012, at the age of 16 years old, God used him in youth ministry as a leader, on his high school campus where he attended Campus Life, and onto the nights where he hung out with Cinemark co-workers after work. He had a fire to share the gospel.

After graduating from high school, he attended Imperial Valley College for 2 years and worked for Cinemark Movie Theatre, while attending IVROP to be a CNA (certified nursing assistant). After receiving his CNA certification in 2015, he was employed at ARC Imperial Valley, where he was promoted to work at the West & East Ports of Entry during his 10-year career as a vocational trainer. He was still working at the West Port at the time of his passing.

He loved his son so much, and the two of them were inseparable. His son was his everything. He was always proud of being his dad and even more proud of his son.

He loved the outdoors, hiking, trailing, off-roading in his Tacoma, riding his motorcycle solo or with his best friends. He loved camping with his best friends and taking trips with his son, parents, and siblings. He loved Sea World, Disneyland, and nature, always in awe of God's creation.

He was always ready for the next adventure, as long as it included his son. He loved music from every genre, art, anime, and old cartoons like Tom & Jerry, cars, Legos and video games. He loved sports and his favorite teams were the Raiders, Dodgers and the Las Vegas Golden Knights. He even enjoyed watching and keeping up with the Blue Angels and the Thunderbirds. He was a walking Wikipedia, he just had so much knowledge of everything and if he didn't know something, he studied up on it so that he would know about it. That is just the kind of person he was.

He loved life. He was positive, smart, and very intelligent, always teaching others, especially his son. He was always ready to give a helping hand and was very reliable and hard-working. He was always laughing, smiling, and cracking comments about something that always made everyone around him laugh. He was the life of the party.

He will be missed by the many lives he has touched. He will especially be missed by his son, parents, siblings, family and best friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Richard Joseph Arostigui, and his paternal grandfather, Jesus A. Felix.

He is survived by his only son, DeMarcus Felix; his parents, Daniel and Rachelle Felix; his brother, Eric Felix; his sister, Ashley Felix; his stepson, Michael Henderson; and his stepdaughter, Samantha Gomez; ex-wife, Priscilla Felix; his grandmothers, Virginia Arostigui and Jesus "Chuy" Felix; his aunts and uncles, Richard (Stephanie) Arostigui, Audrey (Frank) Zazueta, Pearl Arostigui, Michael Arostigui, Jessica (Edgardo) Huerta, Victor (Ana) Felix, Sylvia (Joe) Lorenzana, Nydia Felix (Raul Avila), Jesus "Heber" Felix, and Sonia Ibarra; as well as numerous cousins and great aunts and uncles.

His Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Christ Community Church, 572 W. Orange Ave. El Centro, CA 92243.
