Dan lived his life the way he believed it should be lived-honest, steady, and true. He was a man of grit, quiet strength, and simple wisdom. He believed in hard work, keeping your word, and treating others right. One of his favorite sayings, "God will get you for being bad," was more than a warning-it was a reflection of his belief in doing what's right, even when no one is watching.

To his family, Dan was everything. He was a loving husband to Diane, standing beside her with loyalty and love through every season of life. He was a proud father to his daughter, Tracy, and his son, Jerome, teaching them by example what it means to be strong, kind, and dependable. His love was constant, his guidance steady, and his presence a source of comfort.

Dan found happiness in life's simple pleasures-walking the dogs, looking at rocks, enjoying the quiet, and soaking in the beauty of the world around him. He never needed much, but he gave everything he had to the people he loved.

Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing Dan's legacy lives on through the values he instilled, the lessons he taught, and the love he shared so freely. His footsteps remain in the lives he touched, and his spirit rides on in every memory.
