Mr. Daniel J. Flint

Daniel J. Flint, 80, of Delmar died Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born in Burns, NY he was the son of the late Joseph and Cora Luther Flint. He was the former owner and operator of Fashion Floors, Inc. and had worked as a salesman in Salisbury and Berlin. He was a loving husband father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who enjoyed antique tractors, tools and collectables. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Joan Flint; five children, Daeanne Kuczma and her husband, Stephen, of Salisbury, Joseph Flint and his wife, Leiko, of Salisbury, David Flint and his wife, Maria, of Salisbury, Janae LesCallette of Wilmington, DE and Debra Flint of Madison, WI; son-in-law, Kevin LesCallette of Salisbury; eight grandchildren, Damian Kuczma and his wife, Anne, Sean Kuczma and his wife, Michelle, Laura Post and her husband, Donnie, Jason Flint, Lindsey Charvat, Carl Flint, Eric Flint, and Kyle LesCallette; five great-grandchildren, Callan Kuczma, Dylan Post, Joey Post, Donnie Post, and Jordyn Flint; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, and two brothers. A memorial service will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Rev. Donald Bauer and Deacon Stephen Kuczma will officiate. Interment will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron.
