Daniel K. Frick, 68, of Edgewood, NM, passed away on April 6, 2025. He was born on April 4, 1957, in Cuba, the son of the late Ralph and Alice Lynette (Kreckman) Frick.
He attended Wellsville High School and began employment at Stephen’s Machine Shop in Wellsville. He completed his career as a machinist with GE Aerospace in Albuquerque, NM. Using his precise skills, interest in mechanics, and love of architecture (especially old barns) Dan built his A-frame house, a two-story barn and several outbuildings; he did so without a formal education and through his fascination with Victorian and Western design elements. Not to mention the good friends and family members that contributed labor over the years.
An avid cat lover, Dan is survived by his rescued calico cat, Hunny Bugg; his sisters, Wendela (James) Pelfrey and Elaine Baldwin; nephews, Richard Fullam, Chris Fullam, Adam Fullam, Cameron Fullam, Gerald Fullam, Bradley Keefer, Brian Keefer, Lionel Baldwin, and Julian Baldwin; beloved aunts, cousins, and friends, including childhood friends, Louie Johnson, Danny B., Susan, Billie, Danny M., and other caring neighbors. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by: a brother-in-law, Douglas Baldwin; and a great nephew, Skyler Keefer.
A private memorial service will be planned for later this year in New York. To leave online condolences please visit www.embserfuneralhome.com .
