Daniel Gallichio

Daniel Gallichio, 81, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2025, in New Port Richey, Florida.

Born on July 5, 1943, in Las Vegas, Nevada, Daniel was the son of Bernard Gallichio and Gerda (Arnevik) Gallichio. He spent much of his life in Wisconsin before retiring to Florida. Over the course of his career, Daniel dedicated more than two decades to serving the Chippewa Area Catholic School System and Notre Dame Parish as a maintenance worker and custodian. Prior to that, he worked as an electrician throughout the Chippewa Falls area, contributing his skills and work ethic to the community he called home for many years.

Daniel is lovingly remembered by his wife, Mary (Wolf) Gallichio; his children: Patrick Gallichio of Florida; Andrew Gallichio of Florida; Daniel J. Gallichio and his wife Shannon of Florida; and Gina Gallichio of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. He was a proud grandfather to Craig Morris and Presley Audorff.

He is also remembered by several sisters- and brothers-in-law who were part of his extended family.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents; a granddaughter in infancy, Carina Audorff; his mother-in-law Gladys Wolf; father-in-law George Wolf; brothers-in-law James Wolf and Michael Wolf; and special uncles and aunts from the Arnevik family.

Those who knew Daniel will remember him as a caring, kind, and helpful man whose quiet strength left a lasting impression on those around him.
