Ronan - Daniel Thomas Gardipe, 58, passed away on February 21, 2024 in
Seattle, WA. He was born February 12, 1966 in
St. Ignatius, MT to Margaret & Scotty Gardipe.
Dan spent his youth on the Flathead Indian Reservation and was a proud member of the Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribe. Dan absolutely loved racing stock cars and he was a big supporter of Muso 98.
He worked several jobs throughout his life and, with his most recent job at the National Bison Range, which he loved. Prior to working at the National Bison Range he spent 15 years as a wildland fire fighter (MVFC Original.) He also worked at The Iron Works in Missoula, Post-N-Pole yard division, saw mill, wood cutter, and truck driver.
He is preceded in death by his beloved son Jake Thomas Gardipe; sisters: Cheryl Gardipe, Sarah Gardipe Finley, and Marie Gardipe; and Godson: Mike (Crocodile) Stanger.
He is survived by his parents: Scotty & Margaret Gardipe; his children: Malissa Gardipe, Scott Gardipe, Ty Gardipe, Charlie Gardipe, and Daniel Gardipe; sisters: Geraldine Gardipe, Selina Gardipe, and Terry Gardipe; brothers: Charlie Gardipe, Mike Gardipe, Jon Gardipe, and Arnold LittleBoy; grandchildren: Jaikeli, Caddaline, Skye Charlo, Evero Allensworth, Kioti, and Travis Lozeau Jr.
