He is survived by his beloved wife, Bertha Llaca of Rocky Ford, Colorado, children, Diego Teoba-Llaca of Rocky Ford, Colorado, Angelica Llaca of Rocky Ford, Colorado, Alicia (Gilberto Santos) Teoba of Rocky Ford, Colorado, and grandchildren, Jose (Blenda) Teoba of La Junta, Colorado, Lupe Llaca of Rocky Ford, Colorado, Paula Pina of Rocky Ford, Colorado, Jorge (Karime Prieto) Santos of Greeley, Colorado, Analy Santos, of Rocky Ford, Angel Llaca, of Denver, Colorado, Joy Llaca and Lexi (Shane Bielawski) Llaca, great-grandchildren, Anthony, Luis, Natalia, Scarlett, Rico, Diego, Mia and Khaza, siblings, Henry Sanchez of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Alice Reymundo of La Junta, Colorado, Angie (Jesse) Lujan of Pueblo, Colorado, Juanita Gonzales of Wichita, Kansas, Anita Morales of Denver. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Emilio and Daisy Gonzales, siblings, Rose Jaramillo, Rita Garcia, Edward Gonzales, and granddaughter in law Tasha Gutierrez.

Daniel was a devoted Denver Broncos fan. He enjoyed cruising around in his truck and had a passion for good food. As a talented cook, he was especially known for his delicious chili beans and tamales. Daniel was a very hardworking man and took great pride in never missing work.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. at the First Nazarene Church in Rocky Ford, Colorado. Arrangements have been entrusted to the loving care of the Johnson-Romero Family Funeral Home.
