Daniel Guerra 64, of Waco Texas passed away on January 5, 2026 surrounded by loving family and friends.
Daniel was born October 21, 1961, in Waco Texas, to Tony Guerra Jr. and Frances Quintero Guerra. He graduated from Midway High School in 1980.
Daniel worked for Television Station Industries for many years he worked at Channel 25 News and Channel 6 News. He dedicated his life to baseball and softball in many ways by officiating at all levels, assigning and tournament directing where he built friendships with many fellow umpires, coaches, tournament directors. Daniel loved the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Astros which he never missed a game.
Daniel will always be remembered for his quick wit, kindness, huge heart and willingness to always lend a helping hand. He loved to spend time with his family.
Daniel was preceded in death by his mother Frances Quintero Guerra, of Waco.
Daniel is survived by his father Tony Guerra Jr. and wife Lillian Guerra, his three brothers Tony Guerra III, Ralph Guerra and wife Patricia Guerra, Jimmy Guerra and wife Finley Guerra all of Waco. Daniel leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews all whom brought him immense love and joy.
