Daniel Joseph Hackman

Daniel J. Hackman, of Redford Township, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2022 at the age of 68. Dan was the beloved son of the late Joe and Anne Hackman; and loving brother of Mary (Ron) Jarrett, Peggy Hackman, Bob (Cathy) Hackman, Mike (Colleen) Hackman,Tom (the late Lisa) Hackman, and Barb Hackman. Cherished Uncle of Kris Jarrett, Sara Jarrett, Jenny Jarrett, D. J. (Laura) Jarrett, Kelly Hackman, Rob (Jill) Hackman, Shannon Hackman and Jessie Hackman, and dear Great Uncle of Lorenzo Jarrett, Oliver Jarrett, Liam Hackman, Hazel Hackman and Kayleigh Landon.
Dan graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor's in Business (Accounting) and worked for over 30 years as an accountant/auditor civil employee for the Army. Dan had a kind and generous heart, genuinely concerned for his family and friends health and welfare. There wasn't a charity he wouldn't donate to. Dan was one of the brightest people we knew, extremely well read and enjoyed engaging in friendly debates on diverse topics such as Politics, History, and the Economy. He loved to play chess, listening to music on You Tube, especially music from the 1940's, 1950's, and 1960's
