Daniel Manton Hayes, age 41, of New Zion, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 7, 2026. Born on November 16, 1984, Daniel was a cherished member of the New Zion community, known for his hardworking nature and generous spirit.
Residing at 4469 Newman Branch Road, Daniel was dedicated to his career in construction, specializing in the vital work of installing septic tanks. With perseverance and determination, he completed his education with a GED, an accomplishment that further propelled him into his successful career.
Daniel is lovingly remembered by his FIANCEE, Stacia Matthews, with whom he shared his home, and her two children, whom he embraced as his own, Jordan Alwine and Cali Alwine. His unwavering support and love for his family were evident to everyone who knew him.
A graveside service to honor Daniel's life will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 5:00 PM at McKenzie Tabernacle Church in New Zion, South Carolina. All who knew Daniel are invited to attend and celebrate his life, share memories, and find comfort in community.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta, P.O. Box 67, Olanta, SC 29114, in honor of Daniel's memory. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude for the support and care provided by Floyd Funeral Home.
