Daniel was a beacon of kindness and generosity. He grew up with a passion for adventure, which was evident from his teenage years when he enjoyed riding his motorcycle. His love for the open road was matched only by his enthusiasm for classic cars. Over the years, he dedicated countless hours to restoring these timeless vehicles, a testament to his craftsmanship and attention to detail.
In addition to his hobbies, Daniel was devoted to his family and friends. He was known for his caring nature and his ability to bring joy and comfort to those around him. His presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
Daniel is survived by a daughter Julie, brothers Dean (Sharon), Brent (Nancy), sister Jamie (Dan), and many family and friends.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents Lewis and Vivian Hedlund.
A celebration of Daniel's life will be held on October 9, 2024 at Washburn-McReavy Hillside Chapel, 2610 19th Ave NE, Minneapolis. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM. Family and friends are welcome to join in honoring his memory.
