Daniel Milton Henderson

Daniel Milton “Crawfish” Henderson, 75, of Homerville passed away Sunday morning, January 4, 2026, at his residence after a short illness. He was born in Ware County to the late Herman Joy Henderson and Ruby Gene Cadwell Ferris. Mr. Henderson lived in Manor and Homerville all of his life. He was a Sheet rocker most of his life and co-owned H & H Drywall for many years with Ronnie Hendrix and then owned Henderson Drywall with his son Wesley for many years. Mr. Henderson was of the Christian faith. He always enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and especially bear hunting with all of his friends at Swamp Fever Hunting Club.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Harvey Lee Adams and one brother, Freddie Henderson.

Survivors include his wife, Marion Corbitt Henderson of Homerville; two daughters, Joy Lee Adams of Homerville, April Thomas (Franklin) of Homerville; one son, Wesley Milton Henderson (Vicky) of Homerville; eight grandchildren, Cheyenne Henderson, Tina Broome (Seth), Shelby Henderson, Lauren Peek, Betsy Anna Adams, Dekoda Newbern, William Thomas (Kiersten), Elanna Thomas; seven great grandchildren, Trevor Dunbar, Skyla Henderson, La’marcus Hodges, Levi Henderson, Jamie Broome, JessLee Peek, Blakely Peek; several step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; five sisters, Gene Jordan of Waycross, Pam McMillan (Wendall) of Waycross, Merlene Spradley (Wayne) of Blackshear, Rhonda Gail Beverly of Clinch County, Teresa Griffin (Fritz) of Ware County; two brothers, Carl Henderson (Elizabeth), and Tim Henderson (Betty) of Ware County; numerous nieces, nephews, special friends, and hunting club friends.

The family will receive friends Monday evening, January 5, 2026, from 6 pm until 8 pm at Roundtree Funeral Home.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
