Daniel Hughes Obituary

Born in New Hanover County, NC on December 10, 1954, he was a son of the late Lucian Kelley Hughes and Frances Emily Holden Hughes. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother Donald Kelley Hughes and a sister Susan Renee Stewart.
He was retired from Archer Daniels Midland Corporation (ADM) as an I.P. Technician.
Surviving are his wife Bonita Gore Hughes; brother, Darrell Hughes, Burgaw, NC; sister Karen Glenn, Wilmington, NC; brother-in-law Thomas Gore, Bolivia, NC; sister-in-law Jeanine Hughes, Ash, NC, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Sunday, October 27, 2024 in the Brunswick Funeral Service Shallotte Chapel. Entombment will follow in Mintz Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorials may be directed to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 262 Darry Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
