My heartfelt sympathy to you Nancy, and Dan´s family. Hoping you find some comfort among loved ones during this difficult time. I only can remember a kind, friendly and gentle side to Dan. He used to hike up the hill to the heights and walk the neighborhood. He´d sometimes stop to chat when I was out gardening and fill me in on this and that, offer some thoughtful reflections in regards to more serious issues, make a joke or two. Refreshingly genuine. He always made me smile. He most certainly is a missed warm presence in our. Small little town, and the Opera House. He will always be remembered as a special human being who made the world a better place through his contributions and kindness. It was an honor to have crossed paths.
