Daniel Kinateder, of Oak Creek, was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on January 26, 1962, and passed away peacefully on November 22, 2025, at age 63 from complications arising from Parkinson's disease. Beloved husband for 29 years to Patricia Leu Kinateder. Loving brother of Fred (Mary) Kinateder, Kathy Largin-Ringkjob, Tim (Michelle) Kinateder and Jim (Janet) Kinateder. Preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Mary Kinateder. Fond brother-in-law of Kathy (Chuck) Bubolz, Jim Leu and the late Steve (Becky Huebner-Leu) Leu. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Memorial Visitation Monday, December 1, 2025 from 6PM to 8PM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Additional Memorial Visitation on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at 10AM. Memorial Service beginning at 11AM THE FUNERAL HOME.

Dan took pride in his part ownership of Waukesha Glass Block and then sole ownership of Wisconsin Glass Block from the mid-1990s until 2016 when he had to close the business for health reasons.

Dan spent many years hunting and fishing with his brothers and friends and participating in sporting clay tournaments. Scores never mattered; it was the camaraderie and friendships made along the way. Thanks to his brother-in-law Jim, a wheelchair accessible pontoon boat, and an automatic reel, Dan continued fishing at the family cabin on Spirit Lake and on Green Lake near the family farm.

He also found downhill skiing to be his winter passion. He convinced his wife to take up the sport, and the two of them spent almost 20 years traveling out West every winter making new friends and lasting memories. His last skiing adventure was a gift from his nephews-heli-skiing in Jackson Hole, Wyoming-a trip he would never forget.

His 20-year long journey with Parkinson's included a "village" who contributed their medical expertise, patience, love and support. Thank you to all his specialists at Froedtert Hospital, his nurse Christa aka angel from heaven, his wonderful therapists Heather and Jessica, and the caring staff at Zilber Family Hospice. Also, thanks to his favorite sister Kathy who came almost weekly to share lunch and a ding-dong from the bakery, and to Jim who has been at his "little buddy's" side for over 11 years helping Pat with his care at their house. There are not enough words to thank his extraordinary caregiver Bobbie of over seven years-at his side every week, putting up with his shenanigans and bribing him with Reese's peanut butter cups. Dan flourished under her care.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Wisconsin Parkinson's Association or Wisconsin Humane Society.
