Many years ago, I had the fortune of meeting Dan at work. A very good friend with a very gentle soul. Always in good spirits. Always willing to help. I keep so many good memories of him and his family. The last few years our families didn´t get together as we used too. Dan and I always caught up and shared how our kids were doing and what was going on our lives. He was a very proud father with a very nice family. I was shocked when I heard the sad news. Thanks for your unconditional friendship. We are going to miss you.

I met Dan quite a few years ago when we were both working on the same project; the first of many that followed. Always kind; always willing to share knowledge and provide direct, but gentle, guidance through some tough scenarios. He had the unique ability to make you feel as if he'd known you forever, within just a few minutes of meeting him. He will be sorely missed by his co-workers, and our collective hearts go out to his family. I hope knowing that Dan made such a positive impression and was cared about by so many, helps to ease the sense of loss that you all feel, over time. He was a unique combination of sanity, humor, empathy and intelligence so rarely seen in a single individual.

I had the pleasure of sitting next to Dan at work for about 2 years, and working with him for over 10. While are desks were next to one another, I was fairly new in my role and new with the Company. To say the least, I was in a bit over my head. Dan and I were in different departments, but the work was similar. I would wait until he was off the phone or when it seemed like he had some time and I would pepper him with questions. He was always so giving with his time and supportive to not only me but others. He was always willing to help or provide his insight when asked, and was always happy to chat about things outside of just work. He had a great laugh and it made me smile to hear it. The news came as a shock and my thoughts and prayers are with you all. He spoke about you all the time and reading through your words, I know he will be missed. Will be thinking about you all, and thinking about the times spent with Dan over the years.
