Daniel Martin "Dan" Knickerbocker

I held Daniel when he was an infant, arriving at our hospital in Brookville, PA. He was so tiny, but the look in his eyes was like that of a wise old man. I still remember that, and I think I have a photo somewhere. As I was reading the novel, "The Women," I thought of him and wondered about his life...took a chance and used Google. I am sad to read that his life is over. Condolences to all who knew and loved him. (I did, too, that day.)

I remember mom getting the announcement card in the mail when Daniel first came to live with Uncle Jimmy and Deon. What a cutie he was. I am so sorry for your loss Uncle Jim and Deon ! May his memory fill your hearts through this painful and difficult time.

Heartbreaking to learn of Dan´s passing-our kids were little together, and since moving away from AZ, our conversations have always been about our kids. He was so proud of Ruby and Calvin, and he made sure people knew. I so appreciate the memories of taking our girls to several daddy daughter dances together...

So sorry for your loss. Many great memories with Dan. I will always be grateful that our paths crossed. Prayers for his family.

Oh does Uncle Dan hold a special place in our hearts. He was an amazing friend to my husband, they spent numerous hours talking on the phone often from states apart. When he was in town he cooked fabulous meals for us. I believe those special times he spent with us have left a lasting impression on the hearts of my children and I pray they pay them forward. He will be greatly missed and held dear in our hearts forever! May God bless you all
