Having known you since I was so young, I will certainly miss seeing you and being in your presence with family and friends. I never expected this time to come. We love you and miss you.

Piper, you were a one of a kind guy with a larger than life personality. I always looked forward to spending time with you as you as you were such a positive, upbeat and funny guy to be around. Your kindness and generosity were unmatched. Putting others needs ahead of your own was just one of the admirable qualities that you possessed. It was a gift to have you in my life and you will always be remembered as a terrific human being who was a dedicated father and a true friend that could be counted on. I will miss you and will never forget the fun times that we shared. Paradise has gained a true treasure. Peace my friend.

Words cannot express the sadness we feel for missing our close friend Dan/Piper. While our lives will never be the same, we have a lot of memories to help us smile once again.
What I wouldn't give to hear that damn "best of the best" story he wore out every single time we saw him! That story/those words takes on a whole new meaning now. You truly were the "best of the best!"

My heart was crushed when my sister Krystal told me Dan had passed, it was utterly unbelievable. I didn't even know what to think; my brother in law Todd and Dan were always side by side. I do believe life on the other side is amazing and awe-inspiring, it just sucks for those of us who are left behind missing such a wonderful person--with the greatest smile!

To the entire Laprade family and to the close friends of Dan Laprade, we are so very sorry and saddened by your loss. We have many fond memories of Dan - most of which we were always laughing. He really had a way of telling stories. He will be fondly remembered and missed.

When I was growing up, I never had a brother. Then God blessed me with Piper, the greatest brother a guy could ever have. For over 30 years we were inseparable, but now my brother is gone. Life will never be the same. I love you brother.

Dear Mrs Laprade and family, my deepest condolences to the entire family. I am so saddened for the loss of Dan. We have such fond memories of him in the Parsons household. He was just like another brother to me during those high school and college years. He and my Dad (and brothers) had such a good time together playing cards and cribbage and it was so sweet of him to come pay his respects at my Dads service. I'm hoping my Dad met him up there with open arms and a cribbage board in hand. I'm so glad to have reconnected with Piper over the past two years and will cherish those times I got to spend with him. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
