Daniel C. Lefever

Daniel C. Lefever Jr., 77, of East Moline passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025 at his home.

Visitation will be 11-1pm Monday at Schroder Mortuary in Silvis with cremation rites to follow. Memorials may be made to the family.

Daniel was born September 10, 1947 in Davenport, IA the son of Daniel C. Sr. and Ginger (Blunt) Lefever. He married Bernarda C. April 14, 1984. Daniel retired from Continental Cement Company. He enjoyed woodworking, was a Chicago Cubs, Bears, and Iowa Hawkeyes fan.

With blended families, those left to cherish his memory are his wife Bernie Lefever; children Troy Neal of Carbon Cliff, Kristen (Steve) Speaker of Aledo, Bret (Brittany) Lefever of Orion, and Tara Parks of Orion; grandchildren Josh Neal (Lauren) of Davenport, Jordan Neal of Yuma, AZ, Bryce Speaker (Anthony Ranches) of New Boston, Steven Speaker II of Aledo, Seth Speaker of Aledo, Roman Knox of East Moline, Sara (Josh) Tollerud of Des Moines, IA, David (Rachel) Lefever of Cumby, TX, Sami Parks of Orion, Drew Parks of Orion, Josh Peshek of Orion, and Colton Lefever of Orion; great grandchildren Hudson Neal of Davenport, Felecity Lefever of Cumby, TX, Natalie Tollerud of Des Moines, IA, and Matthew Tollerud of Des Moines, IA; sister Sharon Lefever of Rapids City; brother Gary Lefever of Sun City, AZ; special nieces Colette Saathoff and family and Aimee Lefever -Kessler and family.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents and a stepdaughter Valerie Razo.
