Funeral services for Daniel Allen Lenard, 84, of West Monroe, Louisiana, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, November 16, 2023, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, with Rev. Ruby Dulaney officiating. Interment will follow in the Luna Methodist Church Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Daniel was born on June 11, 1939, in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana, and passed away peacefully on November 14, 2023, at his residence in West Monroe, Louisiana. He was a member of Luna Methodist Church. Daniel was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and a friend to many.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Mary Lenard; son, Danny (Buster) Lynn Lenard; and numerous brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-five years, Norma Lee Lenard; son, Mike Lenard and his wife, Connie; daughter, Robin Morris and her husband, Tim; granddaughter, Jennifer Fortenberry and husband, Dennis; grandsons, Timbo Morris and Tyler Morris; great-grandchildren, Caleb Fortenberry, Marie Fortenberry, and Hunter Davidson; sisters, Geraldine Lenard and Gaye Sikes and husband, Mike; and brother, Jimmy Lenard and wife, Betty; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Timbo Morris, Tyler Morris, Caleb Fortenberry, Chris Gewin, Freddie Sweet, and Charles Lenard.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until service time on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Mulhearn Funeral Home.
The family wants to extend their love and appreciation to all of the friends and neighbors who helped in our time of need.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
