Daniel David Licano

It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude that we announce the passing of Daniel David Licano, age 57, on June 24, 2024, in Young, Arizona. Born in Miami, Arizona, Daniel's life was marked by dedication and love for his family and community. He attended Shadow Mountain High School and later devoted his career as a lineman to Arizona Public Service (APS), where his hard work and commitment left a lasting impact.
Daniel was more than a husband, father, and friend; he was the cornerstone of his family. His boundless love for his family was evident in every act of kindness, every moment of support, and every sacrifice he made. His dedication as a husband and father was unwavering, providing a foundation of strength and stability that will forever be cherished by his loved ones.
On May 14, 1988, Daniel married the love of his life, Lisa Licano. Their union was a testament to enduring love and partnership. Together, they nurtured a beautiful family, sharing countless cherished moments and creating a legacy of love and togetherness.
Daniel's memory will be forever treasured by his beloved spouse, Lisa Licano; his children, Jessica, Alex, Nick, Tianna, Gabby, and Kobe; his devoted parents, Daniel and Esther Licano; and a large, loving extended family of his siblings Tina and Stephanie, aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandchildren.
His presence lit up the lives of everyone who knew him, and his absence leaves a profound void. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Daniel's life at a funeral service on Friday, July 5, 2024, at 9 a.m. at Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary and Cemetery, located at 6500 E. Bell Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85254.
