Daniel Limke Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by A Natural State Funeral Service & Crematory on Mar. 17, 2023.
Daniel R. Limke II, 57 years old of North Little Rock, formerly of DeQueen, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at his home on March 16, 2023.
Dan was preceded in death by his father, Dan Limke, and is survived by his mother, Donna Limke, the loves of his life Charity Dennington and her daughter, Natalie, brother Paul and his wife Melanie Limke, sister Karen and her husband Paul Huffines, nieces Camryn Hill and Peyton Limke, grandniece Abrie Hill and his devoted and loving Weimaraner, Daisy.
Born in Portsmouth, Virgina, Dan later attended and graduated from DeQueen, Arkansas public schools and made his home in Little Rock, Arkansas after college.
Dan was very creative and found happiness exploring new adventures with Charity and Natalie, playing his guitar, photography, and immersing himself in a wide variety of music. Dan was known for his talent in the graphic arts field, his quirky sense of humor – that only a few understood – and his loving, accepting and caring nature. He had many amazing friends from all walks of life that he cared for deeply.
The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to Dan's friends who showed their love for him during his illness, Dr. Wilder and staff at the Carti Cancer Center in North Little Rock, Arkansas Hospice, and Shurley Instructional Materials where Dan worked and was part of their family.
There will be a celebration of Dan's life with friends and family at a later date.
In lieu of flowers or plants please make donations in Dan's name to the Arkansas Weimaraner Rescue. https://arkansasweimrescue.org/general-donations

I worked with Dan at the LRCVB and enjoyed spending time with him discussing music and various cuisines that we both loved. He will be missed by so many.
