I remember Dan as a smart and generous man. Always helpful and willing to give his time. On a business trip from Houston I was in Utah and he invited me and another co-worker out to his family cabin and we had a great time. I am saddened to see this notice, I will always hold Dan in high regard.

Dan and I worked together at NICE inContact. We reviewed the redlines that customers wanted in contracts. I appreciated very much his patience and instructing me how to think like he did in order to know what were acceptable redlines or not and which to bring to him for review. I never saw Dan stressed, upset, or angry. He was always calm and smiling. In the midst of stress and chaos, Dan was a rock of clear thinking and steady progress. All of us in the workplace were better for having worked with him. God bless his family and friends.

My family and I are very grateful to know the entire Lloyd family. Brother Lloyd was our bishop when my husband and I were married. Bishop Lloyd was always so sweet and kind. He always made a kind gesture to my family. I am grateful for having met him, and for all the help he gave us when he lived in Virginia. We will love you forever, Bishop Lloyd; thank you for all your love and friendship. Until we meet again, Bishop Lloyd.
We express our deepest condolences to his beautiful family: Sister Lloyd, Maddi, Cameron, and Dany. You are in our prayers, and we feel fortunate to have such a special husband and father-an angel.
During these challenging moments, please know that we are here for you. We send our love and a warm embrace to each of you. May you find comfort in the memories and love you shared with Brother Lloyd.
The Rosales family.

I´m so grateful for the time I spent working with Mr. Dan Lloyd. I can attest that he was a wonderful boss and a wonderful human to work with. He was the first General Counsel I worked with after I completed my paralegal training and I honestly couldn´t have asked for someone more intelligent, patient and kind to work for in that initial stage of my career. He and his family were always so bright and welcoming to me. My deepest sympathies to all of you at this time.

Alyssa, what a beautiful obituary and a fitting tribute to Dan. He was such a decent human being. Dan was always so warm and personable to me, which is the memory that will remain. I can hear his soft voice and engaging laugh in my mind. It was very obvious to me how much he cared about his family. He was also an excellent teacher, adding insight and perspective on the topics that mattered most. Our deepest sympathy to your family.

This is one of the most thoughtful, beautiful and poignant tributes I have ever read. I, however, am at a loss for words and have been for the past several days. I can't stop thinking about Dan and your family and how much you mean and have meant to us.

I have several memories of Dan from setting up luminaries, gathering and loading clothes for the kids at The Road Home to attending a couple of Utah football games. One of my favorite memories is when I volunteered to help with winter camp with the Boy Scouts. I was dreading sleeping in the freezing cold. The night before the campout Dan called and asked if I wanted to join him in your small RV. While I initially thought I was sacrificing part of my weekend to serve my son and the other scouts, I quickly learned that I was getting far more than I was giving. When it was over, it wasn't the warmth of the motor home that I was necessary grateful for, but rather the time I spent with Dan. I learned so much from his insights, intellect and goodness. I can unequivocally say that I am truly a better person because of Dan Lloyd.

Allyssa, you are one of the strongest, most incredible and inspiring people I know. You and Dan are two peas in a pod and your goodness will reciprocate for generations. Thanks for your amazing friendship and example. We love you and hope we can return you and your family's kindness in some small fashion in the weeks, months and years to come.
