Daniel Edward Long of Burleson, Texas and formerly of Weatherford, Texas was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at the age of 69.
Daniel was born on December 2, 1954, in Indiana, Pennsylvania to Jonathan Edward Long and Ina Lorene Anderson Long. He graduated from high school and took some college courses. He served our Military in the United States Marine Corps where he became a Sergeant and received his honorable discharge. He then became a Journeyman Pipefitter for Code 4 Fabrications. Daniel enjoyed fishing, hunting, hanging out with family and friends and spoiling his great-grandbabies.

He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Dean, Raylene, Bud and David.
Those left to cherish his memory and continue his legacy are his daughters, Christine Priest and Jason Pringle, Sarah Long; son, John Long and Shea Craig; sister, Sandra Long; grandchildren, Blake and Ashleigh Wampler, Gwynith Camp and Jarrett Fabain, Christian Ford, Allee Terry and Mike Christopher, Haylee Ford and Chris Martinez, Noah Ford and Gracie Mollenhauer, Rowdy Walker, Noah Lane; great-grandchildren, Savannah and Lilly Acker, Oliver and Carson Wampler, Luka Fabain, Caleb Martinez and Lila Lane; nephews, John Davis, Jim and Katie Davis; bestfriend and baby, Connie Weeks; fur babies his loving dog Cain and cat, Buddha along with numerous other loving family and friends.
