Daniel W. Maciolek, 60, of Edwardsville, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023, at his home after a brief medical condition.
Born in Pittston, he was a son of the late Roman and Emma Wheeler Maciolek and was a graduate of Wyoming Area High School. After high school, Daniel went to King's College, where he received his bachelor's degree in business management.
He was employed by Factory Party Direct, West Pittston, and he worked in the medical field at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Daniel loved spending time with his family. They were very important to him. He also loved reading, gardening and his animals. Danile was also known for playing jokes on everyone.
Daniel was preceded in death by his brother, Robert, in April of 2023.
He is survived by brother, Thomas Wheeler, West Pittston; Beverly Woods, Kingston; John Maciolek (Joy), Plains Twp.; Niles Maciolek (Stephanie), Moosic; and several loving nieces and nephews.
As per Daniel's wishes, all funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Howell-Lussi Funeral Home Inc., 509 Wyoming Ave., West Pittston.
Memorial donations in Daniel's name can be made to Blue Chip, 974 Lockville Road, Dallas, PA 18612.
