Daniel Matney Obituary
Daniel Eric Matney of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of Danny Harold Matney of Greensburg and the late Patsy Ann Meadows Matney, was born on Thursday, September 11, 1975 in Greensburg and departed this life on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at his home. He was 49 years, 3 months, and 10 days of age.
He had made a profession of Faith in Christ and worked as a Sawyer for many years.
He was married to Amanda Dupps Matney of Greensburg who survives.
Survivors include two step-children: Ashley Bowles and Audrey Judd both of Greensburg; two step-grandchildren: Axel Wright and Reagan Milby both of Greensburg; one brother: Joseph Matney of Adair County; one sister and brother-in-law: Angela and Chris Lewis of Campbellsville: fur baby: Babygirl; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Besides his mother, he is also preceded in death by a son: Daniel Cody Matney on July 4, 2011.

The funeral services for Daniel Eric Matney will be conducted at 12, Noon, Central time, Thursday, December 26, 2024 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Bro. Adam Scott officiating.
Visitation is requested after 9:00 A.M., Central time Thursday until time of the funeral service.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take form of donation to the Family Burial Fund, which can be made at the funeral home or there is an account open at Community Trust Bank for donations to the funeral fund.
