Danny was a great friend to Terry and I. He helped get Terry a job and buy a school bus many years ago. Terry enjoyed gambling with him and also the many breakfasts they attended. Danny always had a smile and wound help you if you needed help. He will be missed by many. Proud to have him as a friend.

It saddens me to hear the loss of such a great guy. Mom, Dolores, and I were lucky to work at the laundry mat. Danny will be missed. Prayers and thoughts go to the Meert family during this time of sorrow.

I was Dans boss at the transportation division for South Bend for 7 years and I did security for him at his fireworks stand. Dan was one of the hardest workers I have ever met and it was always a pleasure to talk with him about several issues. Dan will surely be missed.
